Comfrey Bandaid

Here is my order for a bandaid.
A fresh Comfrey leave, large enough to cover your wound.
scratch its surface with to allow the leave to bleed.
wipe the side to be applied with raw honey and apply to the wound.
Squeeze the juice from the root onto your wound for added pain relief and to stop bleeding.

Comfrey contains a myriad of anti inflammatory and pain-relieving properties.
It has a stock of allantoin and steroidal saponins, and is exceedingly effective in the rapid healing of internal and external injuries.
The allantoin greatly increases cell proliferation and
the astringent properties stop hemorrhage and bleeding.

*Beware or the Russian comfrey though,
it has a much greater amount of liver toxic pyrilizidine alkaloids and should not be used if you are pregnant or have a weak liver. Repeated overuse of this type can cause liver problems and death.
